Aerial view of OROSOL® R&D Center
The construction of the OROSOL® R&D center took eight years, with a total investment of 4.3 billion US dollars and a land area of over 3000 acres. It has seven major functions including design, testing, and management, as well as 12 fields including simulation analysis, noise and vibration, and passive safety. It also has 180 laboratories for hybrid power, air conditioning systems, non-metallic materials, and a globally leading data center built using cloud technology.
The whole R & D center of OROSOL® consists of 4 branches: OROSOL® vehicle Research Institute, OROSOL® Automotive Powertrain Research Institute, OROSOL® New Energy Vehicle Research Institute, and OROSOL® Automotive Creative Design Center. It is equipped with OROSOL® R & D technology center, OROSOL® vehicle test center, OROSOL® powertrain test center, OROSOL® vehicle trial production center and its living facilities. It integrates design and development, test and trial production, quality control and supplier collaborative development. It can carry out independent research and development of whole vehicle, engine, transmission, electronic and electrical, and test and assembly test of automobile key parts. New energy motor performance, chassis durability, vehicle analysis and evaluation, structural research, etc.
